Information we collect
Luminova Education collects information you provide when requesting a consultation, joining a waitlist, enrolling or participating in classes. This may include:
- Parent, guardian or adult-student name, email address and phone number. A phone number is required for enrollment and waitlist requests.
- Student name and email address for enrollment and waitlist requests, plus grade, subjects, learning goals and availability where provided.
- Enrollment, payment confirmation, policy acceptance and communication preferences.
- Student work, progress notes, correspondence and lesson recordings.
Our website forms are intended for parents, guardians and adult students. Please do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, payment-card details or medical information through these forms.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, manage enrollment and waitlists, arrange lessons, support learning, communicate with families, maintain payment records and protect our services from misuse.
Consultation requests receive an automatic acknowledgment. Staff follow up about consultations, enrollment and available places. We also record consent and the outcomes of automatic email and announcement-signup attempts.
Services that process information
We use:
- Cloudflare for website hosting, request storage, staff authentication and spam protection.
- Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive and Groups, for communication, learning materials and optional class announcements.
- Zoom for online lessons and recordings.
- Zelle and our banking services for payments and related records.
Cloudflare also processes technical information, such as IP addresses and device or browser information, to provide and protect the website. Cloudflare privacy policy.
Access to family records is limited to authorized staff and the services needed to support these activities. We do not sell family information or share it with other businesses for their advertising. We may disclose information when legally required.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website usage and performance. Its measurement script does not use cookies or browser storage. We have enabled Cloudflare’s setting to exclude EU visitor data.
Lesson recordings
We record Zoom lessons for replay by students in the same class and for instructor review. Recordings may include participants' names, voices, images and shared work.
We notify participants and obtain required permissions before recording. Recordings are shared only with the relevant class and authorized staff; they are not used for public promotion or unrelated classes without separate permission.
Optional class announcements
You may choose to receive emails about upcoming classes by selecting the optional announcement checkbox. This is separate from enrollment and required service communications.
You can unsubscribe using the option in a delivered Google Groups message or by emailing contact@luminovaeducation.com. Google Groups processes its unsubscribe option; we handle direct requests promptly and within 10 business days. Google's unsubscribe footer, FTC opt-out guidance.
Unsubscribing does not cancel enrollment or stop necessary messages about requested services or current classes. We require fresh permission before resubscribing someone who has opted out.
How long we keep information

Limited records may remain longer when needed for a specific legal obligation or unresolved dispute. Restricted backup copies follow their applicable recovery periods.
Your choices and requests
Contact contact@luminovaeducation.com to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to discuss recording and communication preferences.
We may verify your identity and authority before providing or changing family records. Some information may need to remain for required recordkeeping or to honor an unsubscribe request.
Changes to this notice
We will update the date on this page when this notice changes. We will notify affected families of material changes by email or a prominent website notice, as appropriate.
