Enrollment and payment

Full payment is due upfront. We accept checks or Zelle, and staff email payment instructions. Staff confirm enrollment after reviewing course fit and verifying payment and availability. Submitting an enrollment request or joining a waitlist does not reserve a seat.

Tuition includes the scheduled lessons and course materials. Students do not pay separately for books, materials or software.

Group class cancellation and withdrawal

Families may receive a full refund by cancelling before the course begins or requesting withdrawal before whichever occurs first: the start of the second scheduled lesson or seven days after the first scheduled lesson begins.

Completed lessons are not deducted from the refund. This deadline also applies to courses with daily lessons, including bootcamps.

Missed group lessons

Recordings and class materials are available to students who miss a lesson. Because these resources remain available, missed group lessons do not qualify for makeups, credits or refunds.

Lesson recordings

Lessons are recorded for class replay and instructor review. By accepting these enrollment policies, you agree to the enrolled student’s participation being recorded, including their name, voice, image and shared work. Recordings are stored on Google Drive and shared only with the relevant class and authorized staff, according to our privacy notice.

Individual class cancellation and rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an individual lesson. Payment for a timely cancellation is retained as credit toward a future lesson, and families may choose to reschedule.

A student who has not arrived or joined within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time is considered a no-show.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows are handled at the instructor’s discretion, typically with rescheduling.

Classes cancelled by Luminova

If Luminova cancels an entire course, families receive a full refund.

If Luminova cancels one lesson in a group course, we will provide a replacement lesson. Refunds are not available for that cancelled lesson.

Student participation

Students are expected to listen to the instructor and avoid disrupting the instructor or other students. Other activities are permitted as long as they do not disturb the class. Distractions and poor learning habits can reduce the student’s learning experience.

Students may use assistance while learning. We find that students make the fastest progress when they develop the ability to solve problems independently, without outside assistance.
